DAY 1: Apr 22, 2025: RIO DE JANEIRO (LL,DD)

Arriving in Rio de Janeiro at 8:15 AM, the group will be taken on a city tour of Rio de Janeiro, visiting the oldest confectionery shop in Rio de Janeiro – Confeitaria Colombo – at their own expense.

In the afternoon, we will depart to visit the churches.

• Monastery and church dedicated to Saint Antonio

The Santo António Monastery is one of the oldest Catholic religious institutions in the city. Located in a prime position, it stands out against the backdrop of Largo da Carioca and the surrounding area, with the two churches to its right: the Santo António Church and the Penitencia Church.

The Santo Antônio church was built between 1608 and 1620 by Friar Francisco dos Santos. The church's exterior design is influenced by Jesuit art, with windows made of Portuguese limestone.,

The monastery, located next to the church on the left, was built in the latter half of the 18th century and is a sturdy three-story building with small, evenly spaced windows.

• Church of Our Lady of Mount Carmel of the Old Cathedral

The history of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church – an ancient church – is intertwined with the history of Brazil; it has witnessed some of the most important moments in history, such as the coronations of Dom Pedro I and Dom Pedro II, and royal weddings.

DAY 2: Apr 23, 2025: RIO DE JANEIRO (LL,DD)

Have breakfast at the hotel.

Embark on a day trip to explore Rio de Janeiro, a journey to discover the "City of Wonders":

• Visit the statue of Christ the Redeemer.,
• The Selarón Stairs and Sugarloaf Mountain. Take a cable car up the mountain to enjoy panoramic views of Brazil's beautiful capital and have lunch there.
• Visiting the San Sebastien Church

Have dinner and rest at the hotel.

DAY 3: Apr 24, 2025: RIO DE JANEIRO – APARECIDA DO NORTE (LL, DD)

After breakfast at the hotel, the group will be picked up by car and travel to Aparecida do Norte, in the Sao Paulo region.

This is where the Basilica of Our Lady of Aparecida is located, the second largest basilica in the world and the patron saint of Brazil.

Participate in religious activities with the community. Then check into your room, rest, and have dinner.

DAY 4: Apr 25, 2025: APARECIDA – RIO DE JANEIRO – FOZ DO IGUAÇU (LL,DD)

After breakfast, the group departed by boat along the Paraíba do Sul River, where the image of Our Lady of Aparecida was found. A large cross marks the exact location. A monument commemorating the three fishermen who found the image has been erected in this area. Returning to Rio de Janeiro, they went to the airport to catch their flight to Foz do Iguaz – 9:50 PM / 12:05 AM.

The car picked us up and took us back to the hotel to rest.

DAY 5: Apr 26, 2025: FOZ DO IGUAÇU (LL,DD)

Have breakfast and visit Iguaçu Falls.

The Iguaçu Falls are a group of approximately 275 waterfalls on the Iguaçu River, located between Iguaçu National Park in Paraná, Brazil, and Iguazú National Park in Misiones, Argentina, on the border between the two countries.

DAY 6: Apr 27, 2025: FOZ DO IGUAÇU – BUENOS AIRES (LL,DD)

Have breakfast and depart for Buenos Aires. Meet you at the airport and begin your tour of the birthplace of Pope Francis, one of Argentina's most popular pilgrimage destinations.

• The Basilica of San José de Flores, the birthplace of Pope Francis, and the journey through important locations in the life of Jorge Bergoglio before he became Pope: from his hometown of Flores, where he spent his childhood,
• Metropolitan Seminary, where he was admitted in 1950.
• Metropolitan Cathedral and Archbishop's Palace.
• Visit the Basilica of Our Lady of Lujan.

Check into the hotel and rest.

DAY 7: Apr 28, 2025: BUENOS AIRES – USA (L)

Have breakfast at the hotel and then depart to visit Tierra Santa theme park.

Opened in December 2000, Tierra Santa Park is the first religious theme park in Latin America. It is a giant model of the city of Jerusalem, built on a seven-hectare site, depicting the life and work of Jesus, from his birth.

The group went to the airport to return to the United States.

Tour Price: $2,850 / PERSON 

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

Tour Price Includes:

• Domestic economy class group airfare. Checked baggage allowance: 23 kg + 1 small carry-on bag (40 x 20 x 25 cm) – subject to airline regulations. If you require additional checked baggage, please pay the fee as per airline regulations.
• Airport security fees, fuel surcharges, airport taxes.
• 3-4 star hotel (double or triple room)
• Meals, visits, and transportation as per the program.
• The tour guide speaks English and Vietnamese.
• A separate Mass is celebrated for the group each day.
• The spiritual director accompanied the group throughout the entire trip.
• Carnival gifts.

Tour Price Excludes:

• International round-trip air tickets.
• Tips for local guides and drivers.
• Single room supplement applies.
• Surcharge for business class airfare (if applicable).
• Checked baggage fees apply even outside the regulations of domestic airlines.
• Visits outside the scheduled program, personal expenses, excess baggage fees, telephone calls, laundry, etc.
• Any additional fuel surcharge may apply at the time of ticket issuance (if applicable).

PAYMENT METHODS:

• Phase 1: $1,000.00 upon registration.
• Second installment: $2,500.00 before January 12th, 2025
• Phase 3: Full payment due before February 22, 2025.

TOUR CANCELLATION:

• Cancellation 100 days before departure: a fee of 25%/person will be charged on top of the tour price. 
• Cancellation 90 days before departure: a fee of 50%/person will be charged on top of the tour price. 
• Cancellation 60 days before departure: a fee of 75%/person will be charged on top of the tour price.
• Cancellation 30 days before departure: a 100% fee will be charged for the tour price.
• If a customer is not present at the departure time, the tour will be considered cancelled and no refunds will be given.
• Carnival reserves the right to cancel tours 30 days before departure and issue refunds for any reason. The company will refund the cost of any non-visits included in the tour program, as well as airfare.

NOTE:

• Tour prices do not apply to personal or commercial visits.
• Tour prices are calculated based on a minimum group of 30 adults or more. Therefore, a surcharge will apply if the number of participants is lower.
• The company will not be responsible for lost destinations/visits in the following cases: destinations/visits being closed without prior notice, traffic congestion, or because you stay at a location for longer than the allotted time.
• The company is not responsible for flight delays caused by the customer's failure to be present at the airport as required by the airline or for personal reasons of the customer.
• Because fuel costs may increase at the time of ticket issuance without prior notice, we will present the airline's official document regarding any surcharge increase (if applicable) and request that customers agree to the corresponding price increase.
• Depending on the actual situation, the order of destinations in the itinerary may change, but all the original sightseeing points will still be included.
• In objective circumstances such as terrorism, natural disasters, visa processing delays by the Consulate, or changes in the schedules of public transportation such as airplanes and trains, the travel company reserves the right to change the itinerary for the convenience and safety of customers and will be exempt from liability for compensation for any resulting damages.
• Passengers aged 75 and above are required to provide a health certificate for international travel issued by a doctor and a health commitment form to the company. A healthy family member under 60 years of age must accompany them.
• Please read the inclusions and exclusions carefully before booking the tour. This will help avoid any confusion or misunderstandings about the services offered.
