About this Journey

Join Carnival US Travel on the Pilgrimage in Holy Year in September 2025, a 13-day Catholic pilgrimage through France, Spain, Portugal, and Italy. This special journey invites pilgrims to visit some of Europe’s most sacred Catholic destinations, including Paris, Lisieux, Lourdes, Salamanca, Fatima, Lisbon, Vatican City, Rome, and Assisi.

During this pilgrimage, guests will experience Marian shrines, historic basilicas, holy sites, Catholic landmarks, and places connected to saints, apparitions, Church history, and centuries of faith. From the Chapel of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal in Paris to the Sanctuary of Lourdes, the Sanctuary of Fatima, the major basilicas of Rome, and the peaceful Franciscan city of Assisi, this journey is designed for prayer, reflection, thanksgiving, and spiritual renewal.

With Carnival US Travel, the Jubilee Year Pilgrimage 09/2025 becomes more than a travel itinerary. It is a journey of faith, hope, Catholic tradition, and spiritual renewal, allowing pilgrims to deepen their relationship with God while experiencing the sacred beauty, culture, and history of Europe.

D1
Day 1: USA – Paris

Guests gather at the airport and complete check-in procedures for the flight to Paris, France. Overnight on flight.

D2
Day 2: Paris City Tour

After arrival in Paris, meet the local tour guide and begin the pilgrimage journey. Depending on arrival time, the group may visit important Catholic and cultural landmarks in Paris.

The day may include the Chapel of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal, where the Blessed Virgin Mary appeared to Saint Catherine Labouré in 1830. This sacred place is deeply connected to Marian devotion and is a meaningful stop for Catholic pilgrims.

The group may also enjoy photo stops or visits around Paris, including the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, Montmartre, and the Basilica of Sacré-Cœur. Dinner and overnight in Paris.

D3
Day 3: Paris – Lisieux

After breakfast, depart for Lisieux, the peaceful city connected to Saint Thérèse of the Child Jesus. Visit important sites related to her life and spirituality, including the Basilica of Saint Thérèse and other places connected to her family and vocation depending on the schedule.

Lisieux invites pilgrims to reflect on simplicity, trust, humility, and the “Little Way” of Saint Thérèse. Dinner and overnight in Lisieux or nearby area.

Day 4: Lisieux – Lourdes

After breakfast, continue the journey toward Lourdes, one of the most beloved Marian pilgrimage destinations in the world. Lourdes is known for the apparitions of Our Lady to Saint Bernadette Soubirous and remains a place of prayer, healing, and conversion.

Upon arrival, enter the peaceful atmosphere of the sanctuary. Dinner and overnight in Lourdes.

Day 5: Lourdes Sanctuary

After breakfast, spend the day visiting the sacred sites of Lourdes. The pilgrimage includes the Grotto of Massabielle, the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception, the Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary, the underground Basilica of Saint Pius X, and the Lourdes sanctuary area.

Pilgrims may also participate in the Way of the Cross and join the evening candlelight procession with the Catholic community when available. Dinner and overnight in Lourdes.

D6
Day 6: Lourdes – Salamanca

After breakfast, depart Lourdes and travel toward Salamanca, Spain. Salamanca is a historic city known for its Christian heritage, cathedrals, university tradition, and beautiful architecture.

Upon arrival, enjoy the city’s peaceful atmosphere and prepare for the next part of the pilgrimage. Dinner and overnight in Salamanca.

Day 7: Salamanca – Fatima

After breakfast, visit highlights of Salamanca depending on the schedule, such as the New Cathedral, the Old Cathedral, and Plaza Mayor. These landmarks reflect the city’s Catholic history, art, and culture.

After the visit, continue to Fatima, Portugal, one of the most important Marian pilgrimage destinations in the world. Dinner and overnight in Fatima.

Day 8: Fatima Sanctuary

After breakfast, spend the day in Fatima. Visit the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Fatima, the Chapel of the Apparitions, the Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary, the Basilica of the Most Holy Trinity, and places connected to Saints Francisco, Jacinta, and Sister Lucia.

This day offers time for prayer, Mass, Marian devotion, reflection, and thanksgiving. In the evening, pilgrims may join the candlelight procession if available. Dinner and overnight in Fatima.

D9
Day 9: Fatima – Lisbon – Rome

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and depart for Lisbon. Depending on the schedule, visit important Catholic and cultural landmarks in Lisbon or enjoy time for local sightseeing.

At the arranged time, transfer to Lisbon airport for the flight to Rome, Italy. Dinner and overnight in Rome.

Day 10: Vatican City – St. Peter’s Basilica

After breakfast, visit Vatican City, the spiritual heart of the Catholic Church. The group visits St. Peter’s Basilica and St. Peter’s Square, with time for prayer and reflection.

Depending on the Vatican schedule, pilgrims may have the opportunity to attend a Papal Audience, Angelus prayer, or another public prayer moment with the Holy Father. Dinner and overnight in Rome.

Day 11: Rome Major Basilicas

After breakfast, continue the Rome pilgrimage with visits to major Catholic holy sites. The day may include the Basilica of Saint Mary Major, the Archbasilica of Saint John Lateran, the Basilica of Saint Paul Outside the Walls, the Holy Stairs, and the Basilica of the Holy Cross in Jerusalem.

These sacred sites help pilgrims reflect on the roots of the Catholic Church, the Apostles, the martyrs, and the living tradition of faith in Rome. Dinner and overnight in Rome.

D12
Day 12: Rome – Assisi – Rome

After breakfast, depart for Assisi, the peaceful hometown of Saint Francis and Saint Clare. Visit the Basilica of Saint Francis of Assisi, the Basilica of Saint Clare, and other Franciscan sites depending on the schedule.

Pilgrims will have time to reflect on humility, peace, conversion, and the simple joy of following Christ. Return to Rome for the final evening of the pilgrimage. Dinner and overnight in Rome.

Day 13: Rome – USA

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to the airport for the return flight to the USA. Carnival US Travel thanks all guests and looks forward to welcoming them again on future pilgrimage journeys.

Upon registration, a deposit per person is required to issue airline tickets, reserve hotels, and arrange transportation.

Guests over 75 years of age or more than 4 months pregnant — please contact our office before registering.

Credit card payments incur a 3% processing fee.

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing.

Guests absent at departure are considered to have cancelled with no refund.

The tour price does not apply to personal visit purposes or commercial travel purposes.

The tour price is based on a minimum group size of 35 adult guests or more. Therefore, if the number of guests is lower, a surcharge will apply.

The company shall not be responsible for missed sightseeing or visiting points in cases where sightseeing or visiting sites are closed without prior notice, traffic delays occur, or guests remain at a location beyond the scheduled visiting time.

The company shall not be responsible in the event of missed flights due to guests not being present at the airport according to the airline’s required time, or due to the guests’ personal reasons.

Depending on actual circumstances, the order of sightseeing points in the program may be changed, but all original sightseeing points will still be ensured.

In objective circumstances such as terrorism, natural disasters, visa processing timelines from the Consulate, or schedule changes by public transportation providers such as airlines or trains, the travel company reserves the right to change the itinerary for the convenience and safety of guests, and shall be exempt from liability for compensation for any resulting damages or losses.

Upon receiving the electronic ticket, guests are kindly requested to carefully check all information on the ticket. If any error is found, please contact Carnival US Travel immediately for timely assistance and correction.

Guests may complete online check-in beginning 24 hours before the pilgrimage departure date in order to save time and make the process more convenient.

For guests with disabilities or special health or personal needs, guests are kindly requested to have a family member accompany and assist them throughout the trip, and to bring a doctor’s certificate when completing procedures with the airline in order to request suitable seating arrangements as desired. At the same time, guests are kindly requested to notify Carnival US Travel of this special circumstance so that we may provide the best possible support.

If guests wish to select preferred seating positions such as front-row seats, window seats, or aisle seats, please note that the airline may apply additional surcharges for these services.

Guests aged 75 or older are required to have a doctor’s certificate confirming that they are fully healthy and fit to travel abroad, as well as a health commitment form with the company. Guests are required to be accompanied by a family member under 60 years old who is in good health.
